My Theme Login Issue - Blank Page Upon Update [failed to open stream]

We are currently using version 7.0.9 (my theme login) and it is working fine. If we update to any of the new versions though we are seeing errors like this below.

Here are the error messages that happen when you try to go to the login page.

[15-Mar-2022 15:57:01 UTC] PHP Warning: include(): Failed opening ‘template-blank-4.php’ for inclusion (include_path=’.:/opt/remi/php74/root/usr/share/pear:/opt/remi/php74/root/usr/share/php:/usr/share/pear:/usr/share/php’) in /home/pianochops/www/wp-includes/template-loader.php on line 106

It’s trying to find the template-blank-4.php file but it’s looking in the wrong place I think. There are several files in the theme named that but not in the place, it’s looking for.

*We already posted in the forum for My Theme Login and they said it was an issue with our theme.

Thanks for writing to us.

It might be the issue of version compatibility. Please make sure your theme, plugins, WordPress, and the PHP version are updated as per our version compatibility page.. I would recommend you please make sure your server PHP version is 7.4 or 7.4+. It is also recommended by WordPress as well. Please have a look at this article.

I would suggest you please purge all the cache. I would suggest you troubleshoot a few of the common issues before we investigate your settings.

  1. Testing For Theme Related Issue
  2. Testing For Plugin Conflict
  3. Theme Update
  4. Child Theme
  5. Css/Js Customization
  6. Increasing Php Memory Limit
  7. Disabling Cache
  8. Disabling Cdn
  9. Permalinks
  10. Version Compatibility

If none of those work, It would be best if you could copy your live website to your staging area. and send your details in a secure note so that we can investigate your setting without breaking your live site. Please provide the following details

  • WordPress Login URL
  • Admin level username and password
  • FTP Details
