My server was hacked

My server was hacked. I had registered 5 domains with individual X theme licenses assigned to them.

4 of the domains were not being used and after hacking they were totally cleaned ( files deleted).

1 domain was clean by the ISP but X theme was not active after the cleaning. Theme twentynineteen) was active.

When I tried to activate X theme it created a “fatal out of memory message” and I was locked out accessing the website (WordPress error displayed).

I know enough to be dangerous and when in to myphpadmin and change the database to point to the twentynineteen theme which then allowed me to access the website but of course everything was scrambled on the pages.

I have someone working on the situation but am looking for any additional direction in terms of repairing/reinstalling X theme to regain site functionality.

Any suggestions/support is greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

Hello @setpro74,

Thanks for writing to us.

I would suggest you please take a backup of the database, now I would suggest you please download a fresh copy of the theme from the Themeco dashboard and install it again. To be on the safe side I would suggest you install the latest version of WordPress and update all the plugins. I would suggest you please change the login details of the site and you need to change the cpanel and FTP login credentials as well.

Hope it helps
Thanks
