My Problemo: Search Modal search result displaying different page and menu

Deactivated all plug-ins. (It had 2).
Simple 4 page site with one drop down menu. All work fine.

My Problemo:
When gibberish like http://stevedonahue.ca/?s=termjlk%3Bj%3Blkj%3Bl is entered into the search bar, it sends you to a page with a different menu style and header.
Why doesn’t it look like a normal page with the same header if you search a correct matching term?

I suspect this is linked to a similar problem I have with a different site, using XPro and loaded with plugins. Same problemo with more info added to the page from somewhere.

Hello Steve,

The no search results page is displaying the default header and footer which is why it has a different page layout. Please edit your custom header and custom footer. You need to set it as the global custom header and footer so that it will be applied to all pages in your site and that will include this No Search Results page as well.
