I changed this post (https://akronsocietyofartists.org/gallery-a/) a few days ago, but my “News” page (https://akronsocietyofartists.org/gallery-a-3/), which displays my latest blog posts, still shows old text. I cannot find that text anywhere in the back end of the site and I have tried purging the cache but it’s still there. Also, I have tried deleting this post and creating a new one- but it keeps entering the same info (title, url, etc) in to the “new” post so it looks exactly the same! AND I cannot change the urls of any of my posts or pages. I don’t know why it’s is calling this post /gallery-a.
Hi @jessparvin,
It seems the same for me here:

Regarding URL, please make sure that you totally delete it. Remove it also from the the trash. Check on your post page list. Make sure it is not there on trash to avoid slug conflict.

There might also be some plugin that was causing this slug conflict why it is gallery-a instead of post title. You could try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
In case the issue persists, we need to see the actual setup. Please share credentials inside a secure note. Thank you.

I tried deleting the post (in the trash as well) and then when I went to make a new post it did the same thing- it auto-filled in the title “ASA Exhibitions” and the url without me doing anything. can you check it out?
Hi @jessparvin,
Sorry but I am not entirely certain of this issue, would you mind to clarify what old text you’re referring to?
Here, this is the content of your ASA Exhibitions post in the backend.
And that exactly the content of that post in the news page
And on its own single page, its exactly the same content.
We will provide an answer once we have a better understanding of the issue.
Thanks,
