Music Catalog in X Theme - Best way to do it

I’m trying to build a music catalog in X theme.

The idea is to have a lot of songs that can be found in different Categories/Genres like Pop, Soul, Rock, etc. and I don’t really know which way would be the most effective one.

I’m thinking of using The Grid Extension but I have doubts as whether to put each individual song in a Page or a Post - what would be the best way to do so?

Here I put a link to a website with a catalog that uses categories tags, etc. to organize and filter the music/songs:

Is there any plugin or way to do it with the X Theme Extensions and Shortcodes you think would be the most appropriate one?
