Multi-Region Header- import section template

I believe the answer is no, but I need to be certain.

I have a multi-region header with a side header and a top header. I see that these can be saved as section templates, but it does not appear you can import the template into another header.

I have a 2nd header that only has a side header and I am now interested in making it a multi-region header and adding the top section I’ve saved as a template.

Is this achievable?

Hello @mcaravaglia,

Thanks for writing in!

Launch your multi-region header in the builder. Please go to the desired region that you are about to save.

Click the “Make Section Template” button at the bottom.

Give it a name and hit the “Save” button.

In your 2nd header, you can add the saved template. If it does not go to the correct region, you can always copy the Bar element and paste it into the correct region. Or simply, copy the bar element from the MultiRegion header, open the 2nd header, go to the correct region, add a Bar element, and Paste the Bar element settings.

Hope this makes sense.

This works. It did indeed go into the wrong region, but I was able to copy/paste as you suggested.

It’s important to note that when you create the new region (where you want to paste into) you also need to create a bar. The only way to paste is to select the bar and then right-click and paste. It then replaces the empty bar with the replacement bar. It took me a bit to figure this out.

Thanks again! X-Pro is an amazing product and the support you all provide is outstanding. I could not have delivered so many great websites without the assistance I receive from all of you!!!
