Multi-author workflow recommendation

Hi,

We would like to implement a content editing workflow whereby:

• authors can made edits to an existing page or post
• editors can easily see the edits made and then approve, reject, or modify them
• the above cycle can iterate
• once everyone is satisfied the content is published

Do you have any recommendations or links that show how we should do this. Particularly, how can be quickly see the edits made to content (i.e. the deltas) while it is in “edited but not approved” state?
