I recently had an SSL installed on the server. Currently, it redirects all https traffic to http. I would like to have the site on https but when I add it in the settings page under “wordpress address” and “site address” it puts the site in a redirect loop when you visit the page. Are there other steps I need to take to convert the address to https?
Hi There,
Please try with this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/better-search-replace/
After that find all the http URL then replace with the https URLs.
Hope it helps
I ran the suggested plug-in, but it cannot access anything in Cornerstone, just WordPress tables. Do you have any ideas how to update sites to https and fix the broken links in Cornerstone?
Hi @cyberando,
Please install the Better Search Replace plugin then do the following:
search for http://example.com and replace it with https://example.com and
search for http:\/\/example.com and replace it with https:\/\/example.com
Replace example.com with the domain name of your site.
Hope this helps.
