Moved host - lost all templates

Hi

I have moved from Siteground to Hostpapa, however during migration I have lost all templates that I created. I still have access to SIteground file manager and databases.

I there any way that I can locate the templates (i’m thinking they are stored in the database), download them and transfer them (via FTP) to my new host.

There could be some missing files or the files have been corrupted when you migrate your website to another hosting. I suggest that you check our documentation on how to properly migrate your website.

Thanks, I didn’t do the migration my new host did. Everything moved over other than templates i had created. I was wondering if there was any way I could move them other than re-moving all the files using the migrator plug in.

Hi Campbell,

The template is just like a post type, you can search your template in the wp_posts and wp_postmeta tables inside your database.
