Moved from subdomain and cornerstone content not showing up

Hi, I just moved my website from a subdomain to the main and most of the cornerstone content won’t show up. When I go to edit the page I can see all the code is still there under text or visual editor but when I go to edit with cornerstone I get

Hold up! The content has been modified outside of Cornerstone. Editing in Cornerstone will replace the current content. Do you wish to continue?

How can I get cornerstone to just use the content that is already there rather than try to replace it?

I am not quite sure how you moved the website from sub-domain to live server. However, in our KB we have published article that can be referred. Can you please confirm you followed the steps mentioned in the migration guide to move the website:

Now the error message you are getting states that the page were edited outside of Cornerstone. Before or after migrating the website from sub-domain to root domain did you happen to edit the page outside of Cornerstone? This could be editing in the visual or text tab and then you have probably hit save button. If this was the case, you might no longer be able to edit the page back in cornerstone because you are not supposed to switch editor even using the default WP editor.

Please let us know how it goes.

I followed this guide

The content all worked fine before the move and after about 75% of it still works. I never used the visual or text tabs but now when I try to edit some pages that is what it defaults to. In the visual/text editor it still shows all the cornerstone code but it doesn’t work and if I try to use the cornerstone editor it will delete all the code.

If codes are showing up in text editor and clicking on Cornerstone button is showing the error message then I think the pages might have got corrupted. You might have to redo the work in Cornerstone. Can you please give website login details in secure note, let me take a look and if something that can be done. However, reading your latest reply it seems that the content is corrupted and you may have to design the page or pages again.

Also please share the direct URL of effect pages. Let me take a look.

It could be that not all of the URLs on the site were not updated to the new domain which caused the issue.

Anyway, glad to hear you were able to rework the affected pages.
