Move WooCommerce Gallery under main product image

Hey there,
I need the WooCommerce gallery thumbnails to look like this on the site we’re building. We’re using an X-child theme and have been messing with our child functions.php and not having any luck getting them to behave the way we want.

We need them to be in a row and not in an ol for one – once we have that we can work on the additional functionality.

Can you please assist?

Hey @LNUredi,

Thanks for writing in!
You may need to check this old thread:

Best Regards.

Thank you! We will check that out and report back – much appreciated!

You’re most welcome.

The placement works great – my next challenge is getting the

list items to sit horizontally and not in a stacked grid. I’ve tried applying display flex as well as display inline block and I’m not having any luck. Is this something you can assist me with?

More specifically, I believe those ol items need to live in a bounded box to accomplish what we need.

We are using a child theme and have been experimenting with calling the do_action for thumbnails is a row. Any assistance would be welcome

Hello @LNUredi,

The code in the old thread should display the thumbnails horizontally. Please provide the URL of your single product so that we can check your gallery thumbnails and your custom CSS.

Be advised that custom CODING is beyond the scope of our support under our Support Policy. If you are unfamiliar with code and resolving potential conflicts, you may select our One service for further assistance.

Best Regards.

You can look at our work here: https://found.no-where.net:8084/product/brooks-womens-ghost-15/

Please note, I currently have the overflow set to hidden and the width fixed on desktop and mobile to try to replicate the effect that we want. The code provided in the old thread moved the location but it put it in a multi column stacked grid, which is not what we’re looking for.

Hello @LNUredi,

You now have this:

What should it look like? Do you have a URL of an example site or a mock layout?

Thanks.

Hey there!

Yes, this is the site functionality we need to replicate. https://therunningwellstore.com/product/feetures-elite-max-cushion-no-show-sock/

Hey @LNUredi,

I’ve checked the website and compared both links. Regretfully, providing custom coding is outside the scope of our theme support. You may seek 3rd party developers to help you with your problems or you can avail One where we can answer questions outside of the features of our theme.

Thank you for understandin.
