Move search modal to top bar

Support

Hi there,

We are using the x theme integrity. We would like to move the search function and the hamburger menu into the top bar where the social icons are. Is that possible to do?

Thank you!

Hi there,

Thanks for writing in! Regretfully this isn’t a feature offered by X. It could be possible with custom development, but this would be outside the scope of support we can offer. You may wish to consult a developer to assist you with this. X is quite extensible with child themes, so there are plenty of possibilities.

This could be easily achieve with PRO instead of X

Thanks for understanding. Take care!

Thank you for explaining Joao, makes sense!

Would you be able to help me with moving the search modal to be next to the main menu instead? Currently the search icon is sitting below the main menu and I’d like it to be positioned right of the menu.

Thanks!

Hi There,

Please add the following code to Theme Options CSS

.desktop .menu-item, .desktop .menu-item>a {
    float: right;
    margin-left: 5px;
    margin-top: 4px;
    color: #666;
    font-size: 14px;
}

Hope it helps
