How can I move them to the top and add a link back to the portfolio? As seen here:

Thank you for writing in, unfortunately, you cannot mix and match stacks, you need to switch to Ethos if you want that type of portfolio navigation. It could be possible with custom development, but this would be outside the scope of support we can offer. You may wish to consult a developer to assist you with this. X is quite extensible with child themes, so there are plenty of possibilities.
