Move logo down over nav an thin the nav bar

1 How would I lower the logo so a portion of it extends past the header nav?

2 How would I reduce the thickness of the entire header?

TY

Hi @johnbogs11,

Thanks for reaching out.
Do you want the same header used in the Home Page? I have checked the Home Page where the custom header is assigned and in the inner pages, the default header is used. I would suggest you use the same custom header for the entire site to get a similar header. If you want to use the default header for inner pages, you need to add custom CSS code to acheive what you are expecting.

Please remember that custom CSS code is beyond the scope of Theme Support, I would suggest you hire a developer who can assist you to do the customization or you can avail of our newly launched service called One, where we answer the questions beyond normal theme support.

Thanks

Hi Tristup - Let me offer some clarification.

I created the custom header and set it to site wide.

For some reason the nav was included site wide but the logo image was broken “site wide”

I reached out to support and they told me to put the logo in the standard logo location and that would solve the broken logo appearing site wide.

They did not address the fact the site wide option on the custom header was not working.

So I took their suggestion an now have a a different problem.

The logo appears site wide but not in the correct position and the header is to wide.

How about we go back to the original question and fix the problem of the custom header not appearing site wide?

THat would solve everything

Make sense?

Hi @johnbogs11,

I checked your live site and found that the custom header is appearing. If it is not appearing at your end, I would suggest you check once by clearing all types of cache including the Style Cache from Cornerstone > Settings > System > Clear Style Cache and check in the incognito/private mode of the browser.

Thanks

I deleted the image of the logo from the site settings and made sure the condition for the custom header was site wide.

Now the logo inage is appearing site wide with out it being broken.

Not sure why it’s working now when it was not before but grateful it’s working now

Hello @johnbogs11,

After hitting the save button or every time you make little changes to the site, you must clear your plugin caches since you have installed the LiteSpeed cache plugin.

Best Regards.
