Monitoring user activity

Hi,

I need to be able to monitor user as my client wishes to edit/amend/add content to the site (Ethos stack). Is there a procedure or plugin you would recommend that allows me to see what’s been done etc? I need to be able to troubleshoot, and assess whether a change warrants a fresh backup.
