Modifying integrity -> wp-index.php file in child theme not working

Hi,

I’ve got an issue when i try to modify the wp-index.php file of the Integrity Stack inside the child theme.

So I copy the wp-index.php file from the original pro theme and place it in the same directory but in the child theme. I add some changes but they won’t appear. I can also confirm that it isn’t a caching problem.

Is this a common problem and is there an easy fix?

I want to add some tekst and images to each category page.

Theme: Pro 1.2.7 & Child theme (Active)
WP: 4.9.4
