Modifying font-display: parameter for theme embedded google fonts

Hi there.

we are trying to increase our pagespeed scores and would like to work on the font-display parameters with the theme. currently this setting is inline with the theme produced code

//fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Montserrat:300,300i,700,700i|Open+Sans:300|Lato:700,400&subset=latin,latin-ext&display=auto

We really want to get this changed to display=swap. My client is pushing me to make this change as they feel this is a part of the issue with some of our speed scores.

We would rather see the page render with a different font (local, basic) and then swap out after the google fonts load.

I’ve seen a LOT of people asking this but no solid answers (very generic ones but nothing directly resolving these items).

Hi @speckledjay,

Thank you for writing in, Font Display options (auto, swap, etc.) are added in Font Manager. Scroll down at the bottom of Font manager.

That option was added on Pro 3.1.0, X 7.1.0, Cornerstone 4.1.0 release.

Cheers!
