Modify Search Popup form

I am looking to modify the search popup form:

“Type and Press Enter to search”

I tried adding to child theme:

/framework/legacy/cranium/headers/functions/navbar.php

and make my modifications there. But this didn’t work.

Any ideas?

Thanks for asking.

The file navbar.php under /wp-content/themes/x/framework/legacy/cranium/headers/functions/navbar.php you are editing is correct one. Have you created the correct folders name inside child theme in the same order? Also the concerned code that you need to edit is in line number 143. Here is the code:

<label for="s" class="cfc-h-tx tt-upper"><?php _e( 'Type and Press &ldquo;enter&rdquo; to Search', '__x__' ); ?></label>

Please try clearing browser cache and website cache to make sure you are loading the latest resources not the cached files.
