Modern Sliders > Slow Page Load Time

Hi,

I’m using Pro on this site https://evolvingorganisation.co/ and am loving it and it’s all working well. Thanks for a great product!

I recently bought Modern Sliders and it seems that the page that I added 3 of these sliders to is taking longer to load since adding them. It’s taking so long that it’s become a problem. On this page https://evolvingorganisation.co/self-organization-adoption-program/

If I compare it to the load time of other pages on the site which don’t have those sliders on then it does seem like it is just this page.

I don’t know if it’s anything to do with how I added them- I am not a coder/developer, so I just found the JSON Looper Provider and changed the text in the " …" in various places.

And actually, of the 4 Pricing boxes at the bottom of the page, each one of them is a different slider, so there’s 4 different sliders there just in the boxes, and only the first/left-hand one actually slides, the rest I just removed the arrows to enable people to slide, but all the data is still there in the Looper Provider. So I guess that may have something to do with it?

I’m not sure what to do, is there anything you can do to help with this please?

A lot of things going on, but it looks like you are trying to load a ton of videos in the one slider. That will definitely slow down the page.

I have checked your website and found that the @xRae has correctly pointed out that there are many videos on the page which makes the page slower. I would suggest you check the slider on blank page and if the result is the same, please let us know with the login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

Thanks for this @xRae and @tristup- it seems that you have correctly identified the cause of the problem!

Yes I tested the slider on a blank page (Tester 2) and it still took a long time to load the page- 8-9 secs.

Then I removed the other videos from the slider that has 5 videos and the page then it was quicker- only took 2-3 secs to load.

I’ve added a secure note to my original post so @tristup you can access the site to see if there’s anything that can be done.

I’d like to keep all those videos on that slider if possible. Can you help with that please?

I have checked the page and found that the videos are the reason behind your problem. Please remember that the page speed issue is mostly related to the content used in your site and beyond the scope of our theme support. I would suggest you hire a developer who can assist you to do the customization or you can avail of our newly launched service called One, where we answer the questions beyond normal theme support.
