Modern Sliders - Initial Placement

I’m just digging in to the New Modern Slider Element and I’m watching the “How to Build Sliders in WordPress” video on your YouTube Channel. I’ve tried to replicate the steps to add the initial slider and I can’t seem to place a “Slider (Inline)” element directly into a Section, without first having a row and column in the Section.

This screenshot is from the breadcrumb in the builder from the video:

You can see it goes straight from Section>Slider (Inline)>

This is from my Wordpress install:

I’m trying to figure out if I’m doing something wrong or I’m missing something?

Why is my experience different that what seems to happen in the video? I have to go in and remove all the settings that keep the Row and column contained to the site width. Is this correct?

Hello Jacob,

Thanks for writing in!

After inserting the Section element, hover over the plus “+” icon.

Press “Command” on MacOS or “Control” key on Windows in your keyboard before you click the plus “+” icon.

The insert element popup will appear for you to add the slider or any other element.

Kindly let us know how it goes.
