Modern Events won't generate Invoice

hi guys!
I saw that this was open somewhere else a few days ago, but I’m also having the issue of getting this message once we try to generate the invoice:

Can’t open file C:\xampp\htdocs\mec\wp-content\plugins\modern-events-calendar\app\api\TFPDF/font/unifont/DejaVuSansCondensed.ttf

Are there any solutions to this yet?

Thanks for writing in.

It’s similar to this issue https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/modern-events-calendar-coupons/23357/12 and unfortunately, there is no temporary fix. It’s both caused by host environment and plugin’s bug.

The worst thing about this issue was the link to the broken invoice… so I have temporarily applied display:none to the invoice link to prevent users getting a broken experience

Not a problem, I only chimed in as the original post was mine

I must admit though, MEC is a bit rough around the edges. I have used in quite significantly in my latest project and I’ve got used to telling my client that ‘the plugin can’t do that at present’ or ‘I have let the developers know about the bug and awaiting a fix’

Totally realise this is not Themeco’s fault, but as it currently stands I don’t think I’ll use MEC for future projects

Pretty sure it was this css

Hi there,

A temporary solution is available:

To fix the invoices issue, go to the following directory and remove the files except for the one that are marked.
~root/wp-content/plugins/modern-events-calendar/app/api/TFPDF/font/unifont/
