Modern Events java script map error

The modern events is not showing maps. Its shows java script error

Google Maps API error: MissingKeyMapError: Google has made changes the way you access maps resources. Now you need API key to display maps on your website. Please take a look at following article to get API key.

I didn’t quite understand. I’m just using a plugin within theme x. Why do I need api key for it? Where am I suppose to enter it?

Hi There,

It’s a new standard implemented by Google Maps, so that you will require an API key.

Head over to M.E Calendar -> Settings -> Google Maps Options and there you can add your API key.
