Hi,
MEC has disappeared from Codecanyon. Who is now responsible for updating and support the extension?

Hi Cy,

As I understand it, MEC will be back on CodeCanyon soon. But regardless, the plugin authors are the ones who release updates for it and then we make them available once compatibility has been checked. We will continue to support the plugin as normal, so if you have any issues or queries with it, just open up a ticket with us.

Hi,

Sorry for breaking in. MEC was supposed to be back on CodeCanyon for some time now. Thing is: I build an events calendar for a client heavily depending on the Facebook Import feature. They will have to start using it mid August. So I’m very curious if this is going to happen for real and if the Fb import function will be restored.

I’m sorry but we have no news as to when they will be back. If you have an urgent project, I’d recommend you find a third party solution for now.

Matt from our leadership team here.

Just to update you, it’s our understanding that the plugin author intends to launch his own website and sell it from there. This would suggest that the plugin will continue to be developed. However, we are not privy to the specifics of their development roadmap so would not be able to comment on the FB Import function.
