Modern Events Calendar - No Event Found

So I’ve added a few events, and they display in the month view just fine. I added another page for the full calendar, but this one shows no events. The events only show up after I change the date range from 2019 to 2020 and then back. Or to February and then back to January.

I’ve editted the css a bit to make this page look better, but I can’t use it if it’s just going to display “no event found” when people go there, lol.

Plugin and WP are both up to date. Any help with this would be much appreciated. I’m going to go ahead drop the login and password in a private message.

Thanks for writing in! I have checked your referenced page and I see an upcoming event without any issues.

Could you please try clearing your browser cache and re-test your issue further. You can refer to the following resource if needed (https://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-clear-your-cache-in-wordpress/).

Also if you see this issue again, try re-generating your .htaccess file by resetting your permalink structure. To do that, you can head over to Settings -> Permalinks section, then select the option postname and save the changes.

Well, I had cleared my cache several times before I made this post to no avail…but it seems to be working now, so whatever I guess, haha.

I do have one other question:

This is currently the Events page https://randylpurcell.com/events/ which is supposed to be using the full calendar layout. Well, I created another page called Upcoming Events https://randylpurcell.com/upcoming-events/ and this one has a filter at the top. Without that filter, people will only see whatever events are happening this month, and they will think that’s all there is. No bueno.

So what I need to do is make this upcoming events page replace the auto generated events page. I’m going to replace the menu item’s link (duh) but what I don’t want is users to follow the breadcrumbs back from an event details page and end up at that ugly old events page. Normally I would just make the children pages have the parent page of this new upcoming events page, but I’m not sure what to do since these are events and not posts or pages.

Then redirect your /events page to /upcoming-events
