Modern Events Calendar lost translation after Update to 7.16.0

Hey there,

i’ve just updated your provided V 7.16.0 MEC on a couple of sites, all went well except of the translation. All the sites are in German, but the full MEC Plugin (frontend and backend) switched to English.

Is there any known problem with the update from 7.14.0 to 7.16.0 and maybe a quick fix to get back the language as it was before? In my case everything was in German.

Hey @seven,

Yes, WP changes something in the code base. They have removed a filter hook called plugin_locale . Let’s wait for the release of WP7.1 if it comes back.
