Modern Events Calendar loading 12 fonts?

Hi. I have just noticed that MEC loads 12 fonts, in addition to my own fonts from Pro.

  • Bitter
  • Lato
  • Libre+Baskerville
  • Montserrat
  • Neuton
  • Open+Sans
  • Pacifico
  • Raleway
  • Roboto
  • Sacramento
  • Varela+Round
  • Neuton

MEC has an option to set two fonts, but in designs it still uses Monserat or some other fonts. This doesn’t seem right?

Is there a way to prevent it loading all those useless fonts?

Thanks for writing in.

Unfortunately, the theme has no control over the MEC font loading, all we can do for now is add this to our issue tracker. Would you mind providing the site’s URL that loads all these fonts? I tried on my end and I only saw one font, but it could be just due to cache or something already loaded.

MEC is not the culprit. Those fonts were loaded by ConvertPlus.

Please try to temporarily deactivate the plugin and you will see the difference.
