I have installed the Modern Events Calendar, both via the plugins installer on the backend, and via ftp. After installation, I activate the plugin and attempt to go into the settings. I continue to get this error >" Cannot Load MEC settings. " I cannot go further than this, and have to back up to get back to the plugins page. I have attempted to change the file permissions, but nothing seems to help.

Thanks for writing in! Please make sure that cURL extension is enabled on your server and use a PHP version such as v5.6.x or later to avoid incompatibility issues.
