Modern Events Calendar in a section

Hello,

Is it possible to integrate the Modern Events Calendar in a section or is it stricly for seperate pages?
I want to have it on the home page…

Pls advise on the steps.

Hi Joy,

Thanks for writing in! Modern Events Calendar is using a custom post type. It will be displayed in a different pages separately. If you want it to insert it to a section, you must create a MEC shortcode and use this shortcode in a section. You can create the shortcode in M.E. Calendar -> Shortcodes. Hello,
I am still having issues with it.
First off, is it normal that only have two choices in this part of the menu. In the section “Shortcode”, I can either choose “Upcoming events (Grid)” or “Upcoming events (List)”. But what I would like to have is a slider …

Also, is it possible to remove the category section (cercled in red) from the calendar ? (picture below)

Hey Joy,

The shortcodes available in the widget are the ones allowed by MEC to display. Regretfully, the slider view is not allowed.

You can disable the Category under the Search Form options.
