Modern Events Calendar "hiding" event

Hi there,

I’m using the latest version of Modern Events Calendar (yes, I know you haven’t upgraded to that one yet, but I’ve not seemed to encounter any issues update related, so no need that I can see to rollback as yet). My problem (and I had it occasionally before the upgrade) is that some “next events” mysteriously disappear the day of or the day before they’re supposed to occur. So they don’t show up on either my front page widget, or the event page calendar.

I’ll put a secure note in with login info. The specific “missing event” in this instance is the “Ron Bouchard’s Auto Store 100” (tomorrow, all day event) - which you’ll note IS present in the list of 57 published events. I even tried editing the event a little bit ago to update the date in case it wasn’t seeing it right.

Any suggestions or tweaks would be greatly appreciated!

Hello There,

Thanks for writing in! The events in the right side will display the current events of the date which is being selected in the left side. This does not hide any event in anyway. It is just that this event archive is showing you events by date and the available events on any given date.

Hope this helps.

No, that doesn’t help at all.

It is literally NOT SHOWING AN EVENT on the events calendar page NOR on the events calendar widget. The event is listed properly in the plugins published list.

Please try reading my question fully and/or LOOKING AT MY SITE before giving me a generic response.

The “Ron Bouchard’s Auto Store 100” is being held TOMORROW (probably today by the time you respond to this) … it is NOT showing on the event calendar for the 26th of May, nor is it showing in my upcoming events widget. I’m not sure how much more clearly I can explain this…

Hi Amie,

I checked your website and it is showing the event in question both in the events page and the widget on the homepage. I am not sure if it is showing because now for me it will start today and not tomorrow.

But one thing that I have done is to go to your website and clear both the WPFC and the Autoptimize cache and specifically the event in question cache.

We do not have such a report from other customers and this plugin is used on many websites, this leads me to conclude there is a problem on your installation and it must be the cache plugins that you use.

I can not be 100% sure of that but that should be a starting point for your investigation of the problem.

Thank you.
