Modern Events Calendar causing issues

Hi X Team,

Here is my demo page. I got the Modern Events Calendar to look how I want, but when I install the MEC shortcode on the page in the Cornerstone builder, is causes the bottom two sections to blow out of their 1080px wide containers (the 4 col row and a logo carousel row). Everything looks contained and correct in the builder view, but then when I view in a browser, the sections below the ME Calendar are full width and no longer correct. Can you please take a closer look and troubleshoot?

More info to come…

Hi @bluetroop2,

Thanks for reaching out.

It seems to be a known issue which doesn’t have any workaround but installing an old version of MEC. It’s already on our issue tracker but there is no ETA for the update as it still a 3rd party plugin, but bundled.

Thanks!

Found that if you place the MEC short code into a Classic Raw Content element rather than a Text element, it will not blow-out the sections below it… http://lakecitieschamber.bluetroop.com/. Can you test and verify on your end as well? Maybe it will help others. It is a nice plug-in to have bundled in with X, but no good if it doesn’t work properly.

Hi @bluetroop2,

I can confirm this issue on my local installation as well.

I’ve also added this issue to our bug tracker and it should be fixed in upcoming updates.

Thanks.

You can also use the normal raw content element it works on my Site. To embedd Shortcodes i use only the raw content element. I use MEC very intensive as Concert and Festival Calender if you have trouble maybe i can help.
