Modern Event Calendar - Advanced Repeat

Hi there,

I am trying to do a complicated repeat pattern.
I am creating a website for a local church who have a service every Sunday.

However every 3rd Sunday in the month they have a Family Service.

I therefore want to ideally create 2 repeating events.
1 - Sunday service event which repeats every Sunday (except 3rd Sunday)
2 - Family service event which repeats every 3rd Sunday of the month

Can I do this ?

Thanks for writing in.

Hmm, looks like not possible. You can use MEC plugin, but you can only achieved the repeat for every Weekend. There is no option for 3rd Sunday. Perhaps, you can contact a developer that can create and customize the event for this specific use bypassing the options added through the event. It’s a bit complex.

thanks for reply, found an option to do this.

Create 1 custom date repeat for 1 service (i.e. each date as a custom repeat)
then add 2nd custom date repeat for the odd 3rd service.
