Modal opens in a new tab

Hello,
I am using a Modal content element that contains an appointments widget embed code. This element is in a Global Block, that I reuse throughout the site. For some reason whenever I click on the modal toggle, it opens a new tab instead of opening the widget in a modal window.

This happens both on the front-end and when editing the content in the back-end using Pro.

Hello,

I just wanted to follow-up. Since the website is live I found a temporary solution. For now I replaced the Content Modal with a regular button, and the appointment scheduling will simply open in a new tab. But for you view and troubleshoot the issue I created a test page that contains the Global Block with the broken Modal. You can view it here: https://hudsonapothecary.ca/appointments-link-test/

Just for future topics, self responding or bumping your post pushes it back in our Queue system so it takes longer to respond to.

There could be a plugin or custom code that affects your modal opens in a new tab.

I recommend the following troubleshooting procedures before we investigate the settings.
