Modal Not Loading

Hi there, I have a popup on my site https://staging.ralphsfarmmarket.com/ and the Modal extension is no longer loading for me to edit the popup. Could you please help me with this?

Regretfully we cannot check the site because the given credentials do not work for us. Please double check. It seems the password is invalid.

Meanwhile, are you using Convertplus plugin? Please make sure that everything is up to date to avoid any issues.

yes it has been updated and we have also tried disabling all the plugins but that didn’t seem to fix it either

The password, it seems to delete a character when we paste it into the note

But we changed it to a different one and it seems to work now, can you test please?

I have logged in and check your ConvertPlus Modal popup.
It turns out that it is being Paused.

Please make it live and check your site again.

Hello I think you are misunderstanding what we are saying. We cannot EDIT the modal

When we go to edit this is what we see, it just keeps doing this

Hello Adwin,

I was able to replicate the issue. I cannot edit the Modal popup. This could be caused by a 3rd party plugin. You could try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

If you allow it, may we deactivate the plugins for a conflict plugin test?

Hi Adwin,

Do you have a copy of that modal popup (zip file or in live site), can you try to import it? There seems to be a lot of error on that popup, newly created popup works fine. Please enable WP DEBUG on your wp_config.php file to see the error notice.

I even imported that popup to my dev site and it’s not really working, other modal popup works fine, so its not an issue with site configuration but with that specific modal popup.

I can see notice but that is fine. It should not stop Convertplus from loading. Would you mind giving us FTP credentials too inside a secure note so we can check further? Thank you.

Hi Adwin,

Thank you for the FTP login information and your patience. I did spend a lot of time to get the hang of this problem, but unfortunately, there is no indication of an error, but it still is not working.

I checked the Error Log via FTP, and there is no error recorded, so there should be not a PHP problem. I also checked the notices that show in the ConvertPlus screen:

Notice: Undefined index: modal_exit_intent in .../wp-content/plugins/convertplug/admin/ajax-actions.php on line 2663

That might be the problem cause, but honestly, a PHP notice is not a fatal error, and it will not stop the work of the plugin. So I ruled that out.

I also checked for Javascript errors, but there is none in the admin section which the loader freezes.

The next thing that I did was to add a new Popup using one of the ConvertPlus Newsletter templates, and it works, and there is no notice. This indeed shows that something went wrong on that specific pop up which unfortunately we can not see why and you may need to recreate that newsletter popup.

The other point that I see is that there is another plugin called Pop up Maker, which it also has a Newsletter. Just wanted to bring your attention to it and maybe the one that shows currently on the homepage is the popup maker one and not ConvertPlus one.
