Modal Nav Background/Click

Hi there, is there a way to “turn-off” the click-to-close function of the modal navigation option? So that the only way to close it would be to click the close button.

Also, is there a way to keep the overlay from covering the main menu and just the page contents?

Thanks for writing in!

The Modal Popup is designed to display over the top of all the page elements. This is also why there is a close button and clicking outside of the box will close the modal popup. Regretfully what you have in mind isn’t possible with the current modal element behaviour. It may be possible with custom coding which is beyond the scope of our support already.
