Modal Feature Request

With more and more people taking advantage of modals (all types) there is a problem which I’ve noticed.

Error messages are hidden on form submit.

If you use anything like Ultimate Member, Gravity Forms etc (basically anything embedded into a modal and there is an error on submission, the modal closes and you don’t see the error.

This causes a big problem in usability as the person has no idea if the submission was successful.

I feel we need a validation of the modal for a form submit to check for errors and prevent close if found.

Thanks for writing in and for your feedback. Please also be advised that we have a content modal element in Cornerstone that you can use along side with a contact form 7. You can insert the contact form shortcode in a content modal element. As the you view the content modal form, you can input the details and when he submits the form, it will not close so you will be seeing any form confirmation.

Not really but thanks for sharing.

1, I didn’t ask or mention Contact Form 7

2, It does not address the above issue which affects many other applications that people may use the for.

What would be amazing is if you could please

Pass this to the dev team
Consider if there is a Java workaround you can post for now
