Modal button sometimes doesn't work

Hi there,

I am having issues with my Modal element button, I noticed that NOT ALWAYS but It happens that I can’t click on the button.

I tried clearing browser cache and WP Rocket cache, but it doesn’t work.
The issue might appear bcs of the lazy load?

Thanks for writing in!

Please edit those pages that you cannot the modal toggle and change the z-index of the Cell element.

Hi Ruenel,

I have updated the CELL where the modal is to z-index 5 (On all pages), but it doesn’t seem to work…

On some pages I can click on the Modal button and on some I can’t at all (Like before)

Could be this some caching issue? Since I am using WP Rocket

Hopefully, you can help me out with this, because I really don’t know what to do…

Could you maybe try via Google Chrome? I tried also with Brave browser, but it worked at first but when I closed the browser and entered my site again I can’t click on the modal… (sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn’t)

I believe that it is a caching issue, since once the page is cached you can’t click on the Modal button

Hi Kate,

We can’t replicate the issue you’ve mentioned above. I do the same thing as Ruenel did but I was able to click the modal in your product pages. I suggest that you clear your browse cache, clear all 3rd party cache associated with your website, and use incognito mode when testing it again.

It is weird since I tried it on my other computer and the issue is there… I can’t click on the Modal. Sometimes it works and sometimes It doesn’t (Just like before)

I already tried clearing the browser cache, and I also tried with other browsers (Brave, Mozilla, Safari)

I have disabled WP Rocket on the STAGING site and it works perfectly…

Hello Katarina,

Have you tried checking the site in another computer? I have tested your site again using the Chrome browser and I am still getting the same result. I can always click on the modal toggle and the modal popup displays.

Hi Ruenel,

I found out what was the issue!

I have installed Google Chrome AD Blocker & Pop Up blocker addons. I have disabled them and it works now perfectly… haha
