Mobile site freezes when content area modals are opened

My site on www.intelli.tours freezes when a content area modal is opened.

These are modals are the content under the LEARN MORE buttons on each section of the page.

THIS HAPPENS ON MOBILE ONLY - I have tested in on iPad and iPhone and another tablet and it happened on all.

Sometimes the page will reload, but only part of the page will load and it will not even allow one to scroll nor to refresh the page, even in the browser.

I have deactivated all the 3rd party plugins and it still freezes.

I used an HTML editor to create the HTML for the content for the modals.

If you need a log in to see what is going one, just let me know.

I would appreciate any insight!

Thanks a million!

Jeffrey

Hello Jeffrey,

Thanks for posting in! When you launch the content modals, it will stay on top of the page. If the contents of the modals were too long, you can scroll on it. The page behind the content modal on the other hand does not scroll and it freezes because there is no movements in it. The touch events only happened in the modal area which is why you think the page freezed.

Hope this helps.

Thank you for the reply! I really appreciate it!

Were you able to access it via a mobile device? The reason I ask is that I understand precisely hat you state in your response about scrolling and and that the page doesn’t scroll

However, the issue I find is that the page does indeed freeze and when it does unfreezes content is missing and there is a lot of white space where content should be.

Any ideas?

Thank you again!!

Cheers!

Jeffrey

Hi Jeffrey,

I checked the site that you link on mobile and I am having no issues whenever I launch the content modal. See screencast below:

Kindly try to clear your phone’s cache then check the site again if you are still seeing any issue.

In case the issue persist on your end, would you mind providing a screencast so that we could see it?

Thank you.
