I tried all four stacks, and none of them are working on my iPad. Any advice?
Thanks!
Hello Mic,
I have checked your site in smaller screen and the mobile menu displays:
Take note that the resolution of the iPad is 1024x768 pixels. The mobile menu will only display once the screen size is smaller than 980 pixels. Most probably, the mobile menu will only display on portrait mode and still displays the navigation menu on landscape mode on your iPad.
Best Regards.
Hi Ruenel - actually, the button itself isn’t working. it isn’t flipping open the rest of the menu on the iPad. And when turned horizontal, the flip-down menu also doesn’t work on tablet. I’m trying to figure out why. To clarify, it does change into a mobile button. But said button doesn’t work on iPad. It works fine on phone, though.
Hello Mic,
I have tested your site by resizing my browser window the same size as the iPad. It works for me when I tested your site on my Android phone as well.
Can you please clear your iPad’s browser cache or use private browsing mode? If you have Chrome on the iPad, use the Incognito mode and test your site again.
Hope this helps.
Hi Ruenel - same for me on phone. It works fine. It works great on Kindle tablet… but not iPad tablet. I’m not sure what to do now.
Hey @micduggan,
I tested on a real iPad using Safari 14 and the Mobile Menu is working. The menu looks different than in my colleague’s screenshot though. I see you’re now using the Pro header while in my colleague’s screenshot, you were using the Original Header.
I have replicated the issue in an iPad with Safari 13 though so I will post this case in our issue tracker so this will be queued for investigation by our development team. For now, the solution would be to use Pro Header and the mobile navigation elements.
We’re sorry for the inconvenience.
Hi Christian - thank you. Yes, I went ahead and built a modal menu instead, so we are good to go on this element of the design. Yay! And FTR the modal was super easy to build. What a pleasure.
