Mobile menu not scrolling down even though optimised for mobile devices

Hi, I’m experiencing issues with my site whereby the mobile menu isn’t scrolling on the home page, even though it worked perfectly up until recently. The home page contains slider revolution and is stuck on the top section, though the issue doesn’t seem to persist on the other pages.

Please advise how this can be fixed.

Hello Adrian,

Thanks for writing in! Your mobile menu works on my browser.

Please clear your browser cache. You may use private browsing mode in testing your site to make sure that you are viewing the latest codes from the updates and not the cached version in your browser.

Regards.

Hi Ruenel,

I tried exactly that but it doesn’t seem to be working on my device. Cleared all the cache on Google Chrome and still isn’t working.

The really weird part is that it was working 2 weeks ago when I launched the site, so I’m not sure why this would have happened.

Hi Adrian,

I can confirm the issue on my actual mobile device. Although, there is no error at all on the console.

Please try to double check revslider settings. Make sure that MOBILE SWIPE ENABLED is ON.

Let us know how this goes.

Thanks Lely,

I checked all the settings and it’s most definitely on.

As mentioned, what I can’t understand is why this worked perfectly 2 weeks ago and all of the sudden I’m having problems with it.

Hello Adrian,

X version 7.2.2 and Cornerstone 4.2.2 are available so please update to the latest version first and see if the issue is fixed.

Also, kindly disable the Block Scroll option that is in the Touch settings of your slider:

Hope this helps.

Hi Jade,

Thanks for getting back to me.

I updated the theme + cornerstone and also disabled the block scroll, but it’s still not working. I’m running out of things to say to my client so please let me know if there are other solutions available.

Kind regards,
Adrian

Hi Jade,

Many thanks for your help, I cleared the cache and also updated Slider Revolution, but now something else has cropped up.

For some unknown reason, I cannot seem to be able to get the slides I selected to line up into a flowing sequence. Prior to the update I didn’t edit any settings and it was working perfectly, yet now I cannot seem to get it back to the way it was.

Hello Adrian,

I have checked your site and there are no caching plugin installed. Are you using CloudFlare or please check with your hosting provider if you have some caching feature in the server that may be serving the old cached version of the site. In your mobile device, please clear the cache again or use private browsing mode (Incognito mode) when using Safari or Chrome in your mobile device.

Please let us know if this works out for you.

Hi Ruenel,

Apologies, I just realised that I didn’t clarify that the scrolling function is working again, but my slider revolution has gone a little haywire since updating the plugin to version 6.22

Thanks for the help re the scrolling, at least that’s one problem solved.

You’re most welcome Adrian! Perhaps your 6.2.2 issue is related to this Revolution Slider php errors with update to 6.2.2, but I can’t reproduce it on my installation after updating to 6.2.2. I’ll do more testing too, thanks!
