Hi there, the mobile menu on my site is not responding touches and doesn’t operate as expected. What can I do?
Hello @TT360,
Thanks for writing in!
I have checked your site and your mobile menu is working normally.
I also found out that you have installed LiteSpeed plugin. After doing the updates and site updates, always remember to clear all caches so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.
And please clear your browser cache too. You may use private browsing mode in testing your site to make sure that you are viewing the latest codes from the updates and not the cached version in your browser.
If nothing is helping, provide us access to your site so that we can check your settings. Please create a secure note with the following info:
– Link to your site
– WordPress Admin username / password

Best Regards.
Hi there @ruenel. Thanks for checking, but navigation is not possible with the menu on default browser and also Opera on my mobile as well as browsers on my colleagues’ mobiles, we checked again. My hosting provider has LiteSpeed but I have not enabled it yet, so there’s no cache.
Mobile menu opens when I touch the icon but menu items are not activated through touching, it’s just reacting as I’m hovering. I’ll provide credientials so you can check.
Hello @TT360,
I have tested your site on my Android phone over and over. I’ve used Chrome, Brave and Opera in my phone. I can open the menu and click the menu items to go to the pages.
see the secure note
Please clear your mobile phone caches or use private browsing mode and test again.
Hi @ruenel, thanks for your reply. I think you should check my screen recording. All browsers (Samsung browser, Chrome and Opera in order. No ad blocking add-on) caches were cleared before recording. I also tried recording in private mode but nothing was recorded.
Hi @TT360,
I am another staff member, I also tested the website with my phone. Mine is an iPhone XR and it worked with no problem and did not behave like the one that you showed us in the screenshot. I added the link of the screencast that I uploaded in a Secure Note.
I also do think it is something related to cache or maybe a specific problem on your device. Would you please tets your website with another mobile phone and get back to us with a result?
Thank you.
Hi @christopher, you may find recording from a colleague below. Apparently, when he touches some items, instead of loading the new page, the same page is dragged down couple of times. Same happened to me in my video too.
Hey @TT360,
Another support staff here and I could replicate the issue on my phone and even in mobile browser simulator.
The issue is the Smooth Scroll plugin setting. The Step is too high. First, try to deactivate the plugin and clear all caches including your browser cache and see if it fixes the issue on your end. I tried deactivating the plugin and it fixed the issue on my end.
If it fixes the issue on your end, try reducing the Step to like 10 and maybe try playing around with the Scroll Speed.
If this resolves the issue generally, remember to always test for a plugin conflict first. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
Hope that helps.
Hey @christian, thanks for your reply. Disabling the plugin definitely solved my problem. Thanks for your awesome attention!
You are most welcome!
