Mobile Menu Button on X Theme

I’m unable to get the mobile menu button working on my website (https://safequiet.ca/). I’m running WordPress 5.5.1 and X theme version 6.5.6. I tried updating to the most recent version of the theme (7.2.3) but it didn’t solve the menu button issue.

I’ve read other topics that say I need a x-shortcodes plugin, but even after adding the x-shortcodes plugin, the menu button isn’t working.

I’m not seeing any errors in the developers console.

How can I get my mobile menu button working on this theme?

Thanks for reaching out to us. I have checked your site and it seems that you have installed an older version of the theme.

Please deactivate and delete X Shortcodes 3.0.5 plugin. Please take note that X shortcodes 3.0.5 and its functionality has been consolidated into Cornerstone which you can install by going to X > Validation .

Could you please update to the latest versions?
Our latest versions are:

  • X theme 7.2.3
  • Cornerstone 4.2.3
  • WP 5.5
  • PHP 7.2 or higher

This latest release contains fixes for several issues so be sure to check out the changelog:

After doing the updates, always remember to clear all caches (if you are using WP Rocket, WP SuperCache or W3 Total Cache) when updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.
