Mobile menu broken on update

Hi there, I was wondering why the mobile menu on the homepage (which has also been configured to be on desktop sizes) has stopped working after the recent update?

I also have an issue where, due to the recent wordpress 6.2 update, over 80 of my websites needed a manual FTP update of the most recent Pro theme to combat the issue (thanks so much for doing this so quickly!). However, many of these 80 websites have had the default font disappear, and have been reset to ‘inherit’ for everything. This needs I need to manually login and set the fonts in the font manager, which is a really big task for me as I have so many websites with my unlimited licence. Is there anything we can do to fix this, or is this my only option?

Thanks for your help - please see this website affected, but there are many others sadly.

https://home-v.co.uk/ (I managed to fix the mobile menu issue but setting the fonts in font manager and it magically started working)

Im also noticing there are some other issues, like gaps disappearing across all pages on some of these websites I have updated. Please see the following homepages, where gaps are now not showing on the website past the homepage - this is very scary!

https://zidannessports.com/book-a-class/ (top header missing as gaps gone)

Many gaps missing

Whats odd is the gaps show in preview/cornerstone, but not the front end of the website. Any help greatly appreciated, you can imagine the past 24 hours have been hell due to this wordpress update!

These are the other websites where menus are broken (out of my 270) - so this seems to be an issue. Please advise.

Hello @EarlySigns,

Did the issue happen after the updates? Maybe this is just a caching issue because you have installed the WP Fastest Cache plugin. Please check out this article:

Best Regards.

Hi there, thanks for your reply. I am going to go through the websites one by one, but the biggest issue is with this site. It is broken on all the other pages, despite updating it to your new theme. You see a page of code flash up when you go to any other page apart from the homepage, as well as logging in. This is removed all gapes from any other page apart from the homepage. I have updated Pro twice to see if that was the cause, and disabled WP Fastest Cache, but still no dice. Please let me know what I can do to fix it.

Hi @EarlySigns,

I have checked your website and the inner pages, but unfortunately, didn’t find the issue described here. I would suggest you please provide any screenshot marked with the issue or any video that helps us to recognize the problem.

Thanks

Hi there, I have fixed the issues on the other websites but need help with the final one - www.quickfixproperties.co.uk.

As you suggested, I have made a video to show the issue.

Also, towards the end where I mention there is a glitch of code when I clear the cache and refresh the front end, I have taken a screenshot below.

Hopefully you can help me with this. Please listen to audio on the video as I am talking you through it. Much appreciated.

I am following this thread as well, as we also manage ~100 sites using Pro or X. I’ve noticed with many of our older sites a lot of the styling is missing or off. I know there are some deprecated elements within Pro, but I have also set those to be accessible and used throughout the theme, this shouldn’t be the issue. This has only occurred after the 6.2 update and latest Pro update for many of my sites.

Here is a screenshot of one example… this is showing 2 carts on the left when there should only be 1 cart on the right with counter. Screenshot following is what it is supposed to look like. Please advise!!

Hello @EarlySigns,

I was able to replicate the issue and I have seen what it looks like in the screenshot above. It only happens once though. After that, viewing the other pages display normally without any more issues. I could say that it is just a cache because from what I can see, your site resources were minified. Kindly check out this video:

If you have installed any optimizing plugin or caching plugin, it is best that you temporarily deactivate the plugins while you are troubleshooting the issue.

Hey @turnkeydigital:
We kindly ask that you create a new thread along with your site URL in it so our staff can check your site as well.

Best Regards.

Hi there, thanks for your reply. I have disabled all caching and the problem remains. The glitch screen also shows when I go to the backend login page, and the gaps are still all missing when on any page than the homepage. I believe this is a larger issue than something to do with caching, as on the other 80 or so websites I managed to fix with your hotfix release of Pro, disabling WP Cache fixed the issue, but with website it did not. Please let me know if you require my login details to have a look at this issue, or provide a debugging report somehow, as there is something seriously wrong with this one and it’s the last one I have a problem with since the update. Much appreciated

(here you can see that all of the gaps I showed in my previous video are still missing)

I think the plugin add-expires-headers is arranging the CSS in the wrong way. At least for lines and gaps it seems. You’ll notice the styles below it are what you have designed, but the x-line selector (the default styles) are on the top for your page. What settings are there for this plugin? Reuploading that plugin might help.
