Mobile menu broken after updating Cornerstone to 5.2.3

Hi there,

I just updated to the latest version of Cornerstone on my site and now my mobile menu isn’t working (the dropdown doesn’t work).

I updated several plugins but did each one separately, and tested between updating so I know this problem occurred after updating Cornerstone specifically.

I have cleared all caches, but am not sure what exactly is causing this to happen. Are you able to help?

Thanks,

Hello @vancouverwithlove,

After doing the updates, always remember to clear all caches since you are using the Comet Cache plugin so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.

And please clear your browser cache too. You may use private browsing mode in testing your site to make sure that you are viewing the latest codes from the updates and not the cached version in your browser.

It could also be caused by a plugin conflict, amongst other things. Please check out this troubleshooting article here and follow the instructions for the following sections (where appropriate):

Testing for Plugin Conflict
Theme Update
Child Theme
CSS/JS Customization
Disabling Cache
Disabling CDN

Kindly let us know how it goes.

Hi Ruenel,

Thank you. I was very careful to clear all cashes after updating the plugins, and as mentioned have tested for plugin conflicts so I know it was specifically when I updated Cornerstone that caused this issue.

Are you able to see what’s caused this specifically?

Thanks

Hi @vancouverwithlove,

I check your website and I confirm that it was a plugin conflict because when I tried to disable all the plugin except for the cornerstone plugin for about 1-2 minutes the mobile menu is now working properly. I suggest that you disable again all your plugins and activate them one by one to find the culprit.

Hope that helps.

Thank you.
