The Original Header’s Mobile Navigation really doesn’t close by design. It would require custom development to make it close after you tap on a menu item and as you might already know, theme customization through coding is beyond the scope of our theme support.
Your options would be to create a Pro Header and use the Navigation Collapsed element as your mobile navigation as that element auto-closes when tapped.
Alternatively, you can sign up to One where we can provide customization guidance.
