Mixed content - image URLs change to dev site on save

Hi,

Sometimes when I make a change in Cornerstone on my production sites, I suddenly get a mixed content error. Then I discover that this is because the URLs have suddenly changed from the production domain to the dev domain:

This makes 0 sense. They weren’t originally uploaded there and I have never copied a database up to production from dev before. This has happened multiple times on two sites with X and Cornerstone installed, so I wonder if it’s causing it somehow. I was just looking at my home page and making revisions multiple times when a mixed content warning suddenly appeared, and when I inspected, sure enough, some image URLs were all of a sudden showing as being served from dev.

I have verified that my wp-config.php file does not contain dev site DB credentials and my base URL in Settings is not set to the dev site.

Any idea what’s happening here?

How did you migrate it from dev to live site? Would you mind providing your site’s login credentials in a secure note? I would love to check it first :slight_smile:

Maybe some internal URLs are still pointing to your dev site.
