Mixed content errors coming from within theme

Hi ,site is returning mixed content errors for images:

The images ‘http://theme.co/x/de…s/sites/2/2014/05/neutral1.png’ and ‘http://demo.theme.co/ethos-1/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2014/05/neutral1.png’.

This is preventing a green padlock on this ecommerce site, so any help at the earliest time would be greatly appreciated.

Hosting support advised:
"the images are not located on the server.
You are going to have to re upload the images via dashboard. The theme developer will be able to tell you the exact location for all of the files that are using the HTTP protocol. Just show them this

I have checked that wp general settings lists site correctly as https

Thanks for writing in.

Try install WP Migrate DB and use the search and replace feature of the plugin.

I have tried this, as has hosting support as this is a usual way to manage mixed content errors.

The issue here is the images are not on the server at all so a search and replace is not appropriate
the url is coming from themeco and is embedded within the theme

I have removed the image in your background so that it will not be loaded anymore.
