I have discovered a missing dependency on x-theme on some of my web pages in query monitor while using pro-theme.
Perhaps an overlooked old integration? However, the parent style seems to be loaded correctly:
![]()
pro-version is 6.7.11

Hey @Regnalf,
I am using a fresh Pro child theme from here https://theme.co/docs/child-themes and Pro 6.7.11 and I’m not getting that dependency issue you mentioned. There might be some custom code in your site causing the issue so please try installing a new child theme from the link above just for testing.
I’ve done this with a fresh install, no plugins active except query monitor. Using pro theme itself it doesn’t show this missing error, if i switch to child-theme, the message appears. And there is nothing in the function.php except your add_filter x_enqueue_parent_stylesheet, and the empty style.css.
Hey @Regnalf,
It would be best that you record a video showing us how can see that error in Query Monitor. Right now, I see it nowhere.
I was able to identify the missing dependency because I had to launch a new site for a customer anyway.
Steps to reproduce:
When installing pro, ‘Integrity’ is selected by default, but I almost exclusively use “blank” or “starter” for customer projects. If either of these is selected, this missing dependency ‘x-theme’ occurs.

can you please confirm that?
Thanks for leading us to the right direction, @Regnalf. I have replicated the issue so I’ll be listing this for investigation and hopefull the error be removed in one of the future releases.
