Hi,
I have tried to install X and it comes up with missing style sheet. I then followed the child theme installation instructions and there was no choice to activate but just to return to themes. X does not show as a theme i can choose.

Hi there,
You seem to only have installed the child theme. You will need to install the parent theme as well as the child theme is dependent to the parent theme.
Kindly download a copy of X from your dashboard and install it then you can activate the child theme.
