Missing Cornerstone in Pro

Hello,

From what I can tell, Cornerstone was supposed to be included/part of my original X/Pro theme purchase. I just updated to Pro 4.1.4., but Cornerstone doesn’t appear in my WP dashboard, and it’s also not visible when I go to Pro–> Validation in my WP dashboard.
Or…am I wrong and that Cornerstone is not part of the Pro theme?

Hi Sean,

Cornerstone is not included or required with Pro. Rather, the page building functionality is already built into Pro, as part of a suite of builders that are available to you.

Hope this clarifies things.

Hi @matt,

Thanks for the reply. While I understand Cornerstone required with Pro, there are times when I prefer to use a drag and drop page builder for certain pages.

For some reason I thought it was included, or available for free with a Pro license. I believe it’s mentioned on the Themco sales page as being part of the Pro purchase. Or, am I reading it wrong/not understanding?

Hi Sean,

Everything Cornerstone can do is built into Pro directly, so you’re not actually missing anything. The main difference is that you don’t have to have another plugin active. When Pro is the active theme, you still have access to the Content Builder as if you were using Cornerstone, but you also have access to the more advanced builders (Headers, Footers, Layouts) and features inside the builder like the Grid element.

Thanks for the reply. I’m looking forward to using all that the latest version of Pro has to offer (e.g. Grid element, Headers, Footers, Layouts, etc.). However, there are little-to-no resources, videos, or tutorials on how to use these features on the Themeco YouTube channel or anywhere else.
There’s always a chance those resources are out there, and I’m just not finding/seeing them.

Can you provide some links as to where I can find videos or online tutorials to use the latest features in Pro?
