Missing controls

After redownloading x theme from my Envato link I use the Wordpress only files option and download the zip, then from my wordpress control panel I try to upload the theme but I have problems with a message that says missing style css stlysheet and the version of working x theme I end up with has a massive amount of controlls missing, I cant even upload a section background image, the control is not there

You might have downloaded the complete package. You must download the installable file only as mentioned in the doc

For the control missing

Please make sure that you have enable the “Advanced Mode” setting as “ON” to see more design controls when inspecting an element in the builders.

Please have a look the screenshot below so that you can set “Advanced Mode” setting as "ON and get access of all design controls when inspecting an element in the builders.
